Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick welcomed members of Israel’s Knesset to the State House as part of the Ruderman Fellows program, which seeks to engage Israeli political leaders with U.S.-based scholars, government officials and business leaders.
The Ruderman Family Foundation, together with Brandeis University, developed the program designed to strengthen the bonds of understanding and appreciation between Israeli leaders and the American Jewish community.
Governor Patrick today meet with the following members of the Knesset:
In March, Governor Patrick traveled to Israel and was acknowledged on the floor of the Knesset as part of the Massachusetts Innovation Economy Partnership Mission 2011.
Governor Patrick and his delegation of business leaders and state officials traveled to Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem for a series of forums and company visits to encourage business expansion, job growth and collaboration between Israel and Massachusetts.
On April 5, Governor Patrick discussed the Commonwealth’s growing presence in the global market at Brandeis University’s Global Trade Summit.
