Greenferns draft masterplan and development framework consultation event
Aberdeen City Council is holding a community exhibition this week to display the draft masterplan and development framework for future development at Greenferns.
The Greenferns Masterplan area is north-west of Northfield area and, with the exception of Bucksburn House, is owned by the council.
The masterplan area covers 165.5 acres and is identified in the adopted Aberdeen Local Plan as a future housing site with the potential to deliver new community facilities, community woodland, improvements to recreational facilities, road improvements and new employment opportunities.
All are welcome to attend the open evening at Heathryburn School, Howes Road, which runs from 4.30pm until 9pm on Thursday [10 September].
Members of the design team will be on hand to provide information and discuss the proposals. Feedback received from the local community and interested parties will be taken into account as the masterplan is developed and refined.
