You are invited to send a camera crew/photographer to Waverley Station’s main concourse between 12.30 – 1.30pm tomorrow, where performers from this year’s Ceilidh Culture traditional arts festival will treat passers-by to a free musical ‘taster’.

At Waverley Station tomorrow lunchtime, singer/songwriter Caragh Nugent, who will perform at The Lot on 9 April, will be joined by harpists from the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, which runs from 9 – 14 April.

While the musicians perform, Ceilidh Culture 2010 brochures will be handed out to members of the public.

Ceilidh Culture 2010 runs from Friday 26 March until 18 April. One of the top acts on the programme is English folk star Kate Rusby, who is making her Ceilidh Culture debut this year. Kate will appear at the Usher Hall on Sunday 18 April.

Another highlight is four-piece Scottish band Hobotalk, who have toured across Europe, appearing on the bill with The Verve, Madeleine Peyroux, Gomez and Don McLean, to name a few. Hobotalk will play The Voodoo Rooms on Friday 16 April.
