There are many of us who feel stressed at work and sometimes people take their stress home to their family and friends.
The Comcare Stress Down Month aims to provide Comcare employees with information, tools and activities to help reduce the burden of stress on the community and our lives.
Lifeline’s Stress Down Day will be the launch of our new Stress Down Month on Friday 23 July.
Employees will dress down for the day by wearing their slippers to raise funds for Lifeline to go towards funding their 24 hour telephone counselling service to help more Australians and save more lives.
Throughout the month information and tools will be communicated to employees to help them understand the effects that stress can have on the body and what we can do to reduce high stress levels.
Stress Free Workplace Seminars will teach employees about a variety of topics including:
Zumba Fitness classes, yoga and massage sessions will also be provided to create awareness of exercise and relaxation which can help reduce high stress levels.
